the first 2 weeks that i arrived here in Singapore, i put up with one of my ex-classmates's grandparents place in Geylang Bahru. I didnt meet up with them when i arrived because they were in JB...their place is very homely and i immediately felt very much at home....when they came back from their 1 week trip, i felt that i was in good company of a family...despite our "broken" english, we manage to understand each other well....but i had to move out from their place soon after and i was very sad...not only are they very simple grandparents, they have very kind hearts.. moved me to tears wen i had my pictures with them....i thanked them for their hospitality and sincerity dat i missed back home..

Little India in Singapore

Here in Singapore, due to the big number of indians,there is a place called "Little India". There are alot of indian shops and praying places/temples.If you have to go there on the weekends, the place will be fill with Indians both locals and expats. i thought that i was in India not in Singapore.. Happy Deepavali to my "akhas" in AFH.

Muscat is our beautiful capital city in Oman.Since im in Singapore,i went to visit the arab street and i was supprised when i saw one of the street was named "muscat street".I dont know why and how come the street got its name but i was so happy to see "Muscat" name here in Singapore..plus i got to drink the "ginger teh tarik" sold at there.....yummy...

The 5th of October is an important date for me.On that date, I came to Singapore to do my advance diploma in orthopaedic nursing.I'm so happy to be here.Singapore is a beautiful,clean and organized country.The halal food you can get it any where.The problem lies in finding the accommodation.Its very expensive .

Rottenest Island

Today the Omani Student Socity in WA(OSSWA)had arranged a trip to Rottenest Island. We went from Perth to Fremantle by car then we took the ferry to the island. After spending the whole day cycling,we came back at 0530 pm.Im so tired but it was a nice trip.

Today me & a friend from Singapore(Fuad) went to the Perth Zoo.It was raining heavy this morning. We took the bus 34 after having breakfast.Because of the rain and construction in the Zoo,most animal are not there.After spending 2 hours,went back to the school,and then we went to have lunch.After lunch he went home and I went to play soccer.

Today me and my friends (Mohammed & Ahmed)decided to make the BBQ in home . We bought every thing and invited uncle (Faher) to come and have lunch with us .It was so delicious and we have fun.We are going to miss this house after one year we spend it here.

Today, there was open day for the omani student in Perth. We celebrate the new babies of our tow friends (Alyasa'a and Hibah).There was BBQ , alot of fruits and sweets.We spend about 6 hours in Kings Park.This early morning I went to canning Vale(fish&vegetable market) .

Today was the start of the Curtin Muslim Student Football Game. Some of us didnt wan to miss the chance of representing Oman.There were three groups, each group comprising of four teams .We played 3 matches,won one and draw 2 ,so we got 5 points and we qualified to the semi final tomorrow .The match will start @ 10 am.In our team ,we are missing about 7 players because they were out of Perth.

I dont know what to say or what to write.My last two days were different ,not like the previous days.The lovely girle made me sad and angry of her because she is not taking care of her self. She is not eating well and spending all day out .she is coming home late and that i dont like it.For two days i didnt hear her voice and im missing her so badly.

Today was the last day for Palliative Care.We finished early.She gave us the result of the written assignment as well as for the group presentation. i have got 13/15 for the group presentation and 11/15 for the written one .Remaining one assignment due in May 18th.

Today, my roommates and i had to do "spring' cleaning for the house...we had to make sure that almost every corners are rid of dust and hairs...heheheehehehehe...2morrow,we will be having an inspection and we want to get "tenant of the month" again.....we had the "award" last time but somehow we failed to received a lunch invitation..i think MR POSTMAN must had went on behalf of us.......hhhhhmmmmmmmmm...
